Re: Wofford vs GSU
I have no idea why GSU went for two --- a TD & XP and they are down by 4.
I think the GSU coach failed at math
edit:
Maybe you need a new kicker

Re: South Dakota State, WTF???
... For the Hen fans I think the Hens are #1 right now. App State is getting the Montana boost in rank this year. They are playing a weak non-con (sans Florida at the end) in a watered down So-Con. Hens have been more impressive IMHO. Yup. All Appalachian was about was AE (and hype) in a no-talent ...

Re: Week 6 CS GOTW: #19 Elon @ #1 Appalachian State
Though I think the 'Bone Bowl'' at Paulson is the most compelling game of the week, the arguments against Elon v. Appalachian are weak at best. 1) Appalachian has a strong history as of late of throwing up real stinkers after a bye week; 2) Despite their record, Elon is still more than capable of sm...

Re: Week 5 - Conference by Conference Breakdown
Good to see Eric Breitenstein and WC stepping up.
For those outside the loop, Breitenstein got away from Appalachian (he is a Watauga County 'local') when he signed with the Ankle Biters --- fine young man and excellent student-athlete.

Elon @ ASU ASU is too strong plus homefield plus Riddle chokes in the big one AGAIN. 3 Picks ... Also to App Fans, I'm really excited for Saturday. I get to make my first trip to the Rock. Far be it for me to offer hope, but the Hillbillies have a strong history of throwing up big stinkers after an...

What more could you ask for? Wofford at Georgia Southern The cute, cuddly Ankle-Biters get to travel into the hooligan's den of Paulson to prove their masculinity and superiority ---- the inmates of the Georgia Institute of Correction aim to prove otherwise. With such offensive firepower the teams w...

1) Anonymous "donor-funded" study has no legs even before ink hits paper; 2) ODU, GaSt & UNCC would not be party to a new FCS 'Move-Up' conference; 3) Sunbelt? ( gimme a break ... ); and 4) Anybody besides me 'Winter' in Watauga County last year? http://photo.accuweat...

Suck it up, Nancys.
And try a little 'blocking & tackling' this week.
Or are you afraid you might injure your vagina's?

Even with his 'playing' days being over, I hope that he will find a positive way to contribute on game days, the locker room, film study, etc.BigSkyFootball wrote:Good luck Andrew Selle. Your contributions to UM football will always be remembered.

Re: 2010 At-Large Playoff Elimination & Eligibility
I'd say it is a little too early to declare a team from an AQ conference as a *bubble* team -- lotsa football to be played between conference mates. this is based purely on at-large eligibility. Its simple. If a team is one loss from not being able to get 7 Div I wins, they are on the bubble. Oops....

Re: Most Overrated/Underrated Teams
Elon has done absolutely nothing this year to warrant why they should be ranked. 1-3 with the win against a D-2. There was a lot of excitement in the off-season, but so far just disappointment this season. Elon shouldn't be in any of the polls this week. I agree. Plenty of time to see if Elon shoul...

Probably a wee bit early for the **Overrated/Underrated** --- the next 2-3 weeks will give us a good look at who can bring it on a weekly (or weakly ) basis, and the cream will start to rise ...

Re: Griz in Free Fall? What's the Cause?
If 3 teams finish 7-1 (or 6-2) ... In the event of a tie at the top of the standings, how does the Big Sky crown a conference champ? Head-to-head? Coin flip? Draw from a hat? Whatever issues Montana seems to be working under I find it hard to believe in the coming weeks they will turn the ball over ...
