Re: The Breathalyzer Tyranny

I can't get past the fact that it sounds like you are implying that experienced police officers are somehow not experts at what they do. They are not experts at assessing human impairment level. I'll give you an example involving the instance that has me particularly inflamed right now: The cop sto...

Re: "It's the Fault of the All-Powerful Left"

If you define George W. Bush (which I believe you do) as a far, right wing, conservative...then, yes Obama ran on a "progressive platform." He ran more to the center in my opinion, which is backed up by most politicos. He has governed weak, and much more like George Bush (please tell me f...

Re: Sen. Edwards Admits to Fathering Love Child

DJ already mentioned him, but I don't see you going after Jefferson, either. :coffee: Thomas Jefferson might have fathered a child or children by Sally Hemming, or it just as likely could have been his brother Randolf. And possibly one of his 25 male relatives who carried the same Y chromosome and ...

Re: Nova 2010 Schedule

That last game of the year MIGHT be for all the marbles ... It was announced at Nova's FB banquet, that the graduating Seniors had never lost to UD. Next year's Seniors (Szczur, Whitney, Ijalana, et al) will look to be the next class to have never lost to UD in 4 years. If this game is for all of t...

Re: JMU ANNOUNCES 2010 FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

I see having UNH at home instead of URI is not a big deal. Usually good vs. UNH. Come on. Mike Barber of the Daily News Record initially reported from his Twitter page that JMU wouldn't be facing UNH. If that had been the case, then I'm sure URI would have been the homecoming opponent instead. Yeah...

Re: Rank the CAA QB's

I go in this order: Devlin Whitney Toman Dudzik could be up there, but honestly, until he proves he can play in that offense and stay healthy I can't put him up there. I just see an Eric Lindros-type unlucky streak that he just can't stay healthy. As for the guys on the list, Devlin is the best pur...

Re: Rank the CAA QB's

I think Thorpe will be great this year and will be the outright starter (with Drew's injuries and all). Thorpe at the end of the year compared to the beginning of the year is almost night and day, I thought he progressed very well. Agreed... but we don't know what Mickey is thinking/if we will have...

Wow. A seat held by the liberal lion himself for how many decades in a state that's bluer than blue, that Obama won 62-36 and where registered Dems outnumber registered Republicans about 3-1. This would have been bad news for the Dems if Coakley had won by only single digits. To actually lose this s...

*Most of the below info was on the 2010 Towson Schedule thread hijack, which I have deleted. JMU just landed a 3 star from VA Beach, right in ODU's back yard, Dejor Simmons, who had 4 I-A offers: UConn, Duke, Marshall and Toledo : http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Dejor-Simmons...

JMU ANNOUNCES 2010 FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

JMU gets screwed by not getting to play the weakest CAA team, URI. The schedule, while very tough, does have Liberty, UD, UNH, UMass, and W&M at home, with Nova, UR and Maine on the road.

Won't now every Div I military school now be running the Triple Option or some variation of it (like the flexbone)? Army, Navy, Air Force, and VMI already run it.

Re: Could The GOP get Teddys Seat???

I support smaller government, deregulation and lower taxation, none of which we are getting today or will ever get from this administration. And probably not from any Republican administration either. That's why I'm angry. That's pretty much what we've had for the past thirty years with the excepti...

Re: Remainder of CAA 2010 schedules

Everyone was saying last month whoever didn't get to play Towson and URI was gonna get screwed. Well that would be W&M and JMU. W&M definitely has the most difficult schedule with not getting to play Towson and the 3 plane trips to New England. JMU has the next most difficult. JMU doesn't ge...

Re: 2010 Towson Schedule

Really? I'd like to get your thoughts on that. I think Delaware should be better than JMU this year (I thought that last year too). Particularly given that you are going to Newark and we are coming to The Wire. JMU is done. They are only getting the Old Dominion throwaways from southeastern Virgini...
