Re: Phil Steele College Football Preview Magazine

That would make sense if it were true and I may be wrong on this cuz I wasn't real involved when this all went down but I think it was due to some smack on the board and was not what a normal person would consider an actual threat. He has an inate ability to manufacture things out of something that...

Re: Oregon QB to Montana?

:RUMOR ALERT: He was seen at Bozo this week checking out the facilities and meeting with Ash. I'd say that's strictly a rumor, he's not at all the type of QB wants for his type offense and Ash used the last two schollies yesterday bringing in two JC's- a WR and a safety, two positions Ash has said ...

Re: Oregon QB to Montana?

Roper has a stick for an arm but is not bad on his feet. It'd be awesome for UM to pick up both Pflugrad and Roper - then I could really continue cheering for them. That's contrary to everything I've seen and read about Roper. All reports are that he is a drop back QB with a great arm and limited m...

Re: Will the state of MT be banned from hosting playoff games?

So no update on this til the season starts?? Last I heard some NCAA committee will be discussing the issue in a couple weeks. Both MSU and UM have attorneys working on it and I heard the governors office is looking into it as well. Noone I've seen or heard quoted seems overly concerned based on the...

Re: Bobcat Stadium plans on hold

I am sure this is not the last athletic project delayed by the economy,. I agree. At least they took a look at their books and are postponing this and not going ahead as planned at the Students/Montana Tax Payers expense. It was always premised on private funds being raised. There was never a hint ...

Re: Should SUU join the Big Sky?

I don't see either SUU or CWU in the Big Sky in the near future, but if one were up for grabs I'd take SUU in a heartbeat, they're at the FCS level and always present a challenge to BSC teams. Had CWU beat the griz in fizzoula last year they would be my pick though........................ :P

Re: NAU Spring Football Updates

Rumors are going around that former Bobcat HC Mike Kramer will be hired at NAU as the DC, have you heard any talk down there? Currently, the DC position is open, but the state-wide University system is under a hiring freeze (affects every state university, every department). Kramer was in Flagstaff...
