Gonna have to make a note to watch this move when it's streaming.
Re: Crypto
I thought I was mostly with the pinkos when it comes to crypto skepticism but it's starting to seem less like it breaks cleanly on party lines.

And it should be pointed out the progress is made by systemic changes and not by the misanthropes and luddites and extinction rebellion and back-to-nature kooks.

A story that I think illustrates how decisions made by the investigator, even when reasonable, can affect conclusions. Skip to the the paragraph near the end that starts with "But here is the thing" if you just want the gist. Yesterday I had some fun doing an analysis of the association b...

The $15 MW won by 17 points in pinko, commie Nebraska. Said it many times before but if the GOP became the anti-woke populists they'd be unstoppable.

Re: Election Day - Predictions & Your State Info
Republicans will conquer the house. Senate will be close and there will be lawsuits and run-offs before everything is settled. Brian Kemp defeats Steecee Eebrams by 4. DeSantis wins by 6. O'Rourke gets draxed. Donks have a good day in Arizona and Pennsylvania but bad days in Texas, GA, and Florida. ...

Re: Welcome To Hell, Elon
Anyone who thinks complaints about Twitter content moderation ever had anything to do with unlabeled parody accounts is just being dishonest.

Re: Examples of Democrats or Republicans Supporting Fascist Policies
Here's a list of characteristics of fascists that liberals ignore: 1. Fascists always have complete disdain for gun rights. If you want to argue more gun laws is the only way to stop mass shootings that's beside the point. It's not deniable that firearm ownership is severely restricted in fascist re...

Re: 2022 SCOTUS rulings
The funny thing about the doctrine of "anti-racism" is that it requires Harvard to stand by in court it's policies of rating Asian applicants lower in likeability and courage scores while claiming those metrics aren't racist while actual tests of academic ability for admission to an academ...

Hopeful the Supreme Court will put an end to the stupid practice of colleges judging life challenges by how many rights someone's ancestors had instead of their current lot.

Re: Welcome To Hell, Elon
It's naive to assume Musk is buying Twitter in order to change the content moderation policy. I wish we he were, but he's not paying over $40 billion just to do that. It's much more likely the guy thinks he can monetize social media in a way that's unprecedented, probably with some kind of cockamam...

What's funny is that this is a liberal enclave where crime is out of control and people will assume it's a Maga nut and not just a garden-variety POS.

Re: Violent Rhetoric
Paul Pelosi attacked at his home. Personally, I blame the Young Turks for pointing out how the Pelosi's use their position of influence to enrich themselves as a congressional family. We shouldn't be talking about how members of congress essentially can do insider trading. It just encourages violence.

Right...one shows an example of how people in large groups can be made to believe absurd things. The other is a bunch of people singing the national anthem.

Re: Sun Belt 2022 thread
I have no doubt JMU can finish ranked if they win out. This isn't 2014 where a Sun Belt team has to be undefeated to be ranked. Their run defense is the best I've seen from a team that's not a major P5. Giving up a combined 75 yards rushing to Georgia Southern and App is just crazy when both of thos...
