Re: Big Sky Power Rankings 9-10
yeah.. I watched the Eags play last Saturday and to be honest, they dont look that impressive.. Their D-line puts a lot of pressure on the QB but that about it and their offense looked pretty vanilla. Padron looks like an average QB and their running game..... Dont even get me started there...........

Re: Big Sky Power Rankings 9-10
I honestly don't know if I'd put EWU at the top. Frankly, I'm unimpressed with our performance as a whole unit this far. However, I could easily see the conference title winner have two big sky losses this year. The 'Sky is crazy competitive this year... yeah.. I watched the Eags play last Saturday...

Re: Da'Rick Rogers to Tenn. Tech?
Eh...I wouldnt go so far as to say that they need to rearrange the All-Americans Brock. He may have been good at UTK (Tennessee) but its again no guarantee he is gonna blow away the FCS...especially coming in after training camp He could have had 400 yards receiving against the Griz last year if Te...

Re: 2012 Phil Steele Preseason Rankings and AAs
Typically, yes. I don't know how you can completely discount the affect of a rape scandal that cost a coaching staff, players, and administration their jobs. It'll obviously have some effect, but there's no way of knowing just how much until we play the games. That's why I think everyone's predicti...

Good stuff.. Our running game will carry us through the first part of the season. O-line will be ready to back that up. Montana will be fine. Its going to be nice to get tested early in the season. I guess we'll see what were made of after week 5..........

Re: Stanford QB transfers to Montana
Everyone seems to forget how little game experience Johnson had coming into last season...just sayin'. Everyone also seems to forget how the Griz struggled with a new HC and coordinators in 2010. And that was with two experienced QBs and a lot more starters returning. Just sayin'. :thumb: Montana s...

Re: Stanford QB transfers to Montana
Growler1 is the dumbest piece of **** over there. Breezecheck doesn't look overly impressive to me. Similar to JJ, he's a play maker with his feet, but lacks a strong arm... I saw a lot of passes that were floated up there, even mid range ones. I haven't seen the other Griz QBs play, but if I were ...

Re: Massey Ratings
I think Montana is grossly overrated (what with all we've been through this year), and we should probably be below UNI anyways, but how the hell is UNI the #2 team in FCS? Not trying to smack or anything, but what exactly do they have that makes them better than SHSU, GSU, or Montana State? Serious...

Re: Best Regional (Northwest) FCS College Town?
Bozeman is a good college town but i certainly wouldnt call it great. It simply doesn't compare to Ithaca and Burlington back east. The thing that hurts Bozeman is the weak music scene. I plan on getting up to Missoula for a football game this fall so ill wait to comment. The skiing is better in Bo...

Re: Best Regional (Northwest) FCS College Town?
I was unaware the "music scene" was the make-or-break point for the best college town. Let's all disregard that Bozeman is a prototypical college town and the immense beauty of the place, but yeah, the music scene is weak, so  :dunce: The music scene is a big part of a "co...
