You should be able to get on without problem.

BTW, thanks Chris for the welcome.
89, you've been a member of this football site for a few weeks. No posts regarding football; just administrative updates?

Odd.

UD's Kametz ready to play DT

http://www.delawareonline.com/apps/pbcs ... 002/SPORTS Kametz is healthy and will be an important part of a revamped D-line. While playing defensive end allowed him to unleash some of his athletic skills, Kametz finds the interior fray more to his liking. "I like being in the middle. I like con...

Thanks for putting the list together.

FYI....delawareonline.com (the News Journal) has much more information about the Blue Hens than the Newark Post.

The News Journal also covers Delaware State.

Re: New rules in FCS football?

Not many touchbacks this year...and better field position should result in more points.

It is going to be interesting to see how coaches adjust their special team's play. Speed, speed, speed will be even more of a premium on both sides during kickoffs.

Re: 5 Questions for the SoCon

I just love the fact that nobody give Georgia Southern a shot this year. That just where we want to be. 8-) Interesting thought, but after last season what evidence is there that GSU will be able to rebound and compete at the top of SoCon? Not smack, just asking a question. GSU recruited players fo...

Injuries hit Delaware again

Can somebody puh-lease send UD some insect repellent so that we can get rid of these injury bugs?

Butler, our back up RB, was very fast and probably would have been playing at Wisconsin if it weren't for their all star FB.

Re: Delaware State University looks to challenge for MEAC title

Actually, South Carolina State has been picked by the coaches to win the MEAC this year. Hampton is picked for second, and DSU third. But, DSU is a legitimate contender depending on how quickly they adjust to some new assistant coaches. DSU has a new Defensive Coordinator (he came over from Howard, ...

Delaware State University looks to challenge for MEAC title

DOVER -- How do you improve on your school's best football record in 15 years? If you're Delaware State coach Al Lavan, you ask yourself some serious questions. The Hornets' 8-3 record last season -- 6-2 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference -- pushed the program to the brink of a share of the leag...

Re: Coastal Carolina to play Penn State

I almost fell out of my chair & had to verify it before I posted. How the hell is CCU playing Penn State? UD plays Maryland next year, but I wonder what it'd take for us to play them once. UD-Penn State is one game I'd LOVE to see! :) Damn, Joe Pa recently came out to Delaware (the state of) to...

Re: UD adds final pieces

Aw shucks, everyone would like to have home grown talent through and through. But, that is not the way things are done these days; even ASU is getting into the game by filling important DL losses with SEC transfers. As long as the kids are quality people and good students, then I don’t have a proble...

DSU's Lavan remembers Bill Walsh

An NFL legend passes. "Walsh died Monday at age 75 from leukemia." "Lavan said one of his best memories of working with Walsh came before the NFL draft one year. "I remember him saying, 'I don't care how a guy fits in another guy's system, how will he fit in ours? How does ...

UD adds final pieces

Watch out FCS, the Blue Hens are loading up for deep playoff run. The offense returns 10 of 11 starters, and the D has been bolstered by several strong FBS transfers (Talley, from Notre Dame, Smith from UConn, among others) and the return of some talented player who were injured last year. The Hens ...

It would be good to see a GWFC team do well in the playoffs. Sad to see the Dakota teams go, and I hope you will be able to backfill with the other Dakotas. Re: Poll: Best All Time FCS Champ

No doubt the '96 Marshall team was probably the strongest if you consider both the regular and post season play... but the UD '03 team probaly had the most dominate playoff run in FCS history... as they outscored their four playoff opponents (teams with a combined record of 47-6) by 149-23. And it ...
