Well, Republicans (and Conks on here) were spewing racist shat ever since Obama looked like he would win the nomination.

I haven't seen liberals doing this kind of thing with Carson:

Yeah, comparable for sure. :jack:

There are racists everywhere, and only an idiot wouldn't see that.

Having said that, the people that made those meme's, posters, etc... are just ridiculous.

Didn't say every Republican is a racist.

But, it's hard to say that the left's reaction to Ben Carson has carried the same racist vitriol of of the right's reaction to Obama.

I know, i'm just reminding you.

I haven't seen or heard any racist rants from liberals.

Then again, most of the media is liberal so I'm not sure I would.

The issue with Carson, aside from his obvious Ambien addiction, is that he says the dumbest things and believes it. He won't be President.

Thanks for playing, Felchy, but I'm talking ANY kind of scrutiny-

Disagree with his politics? Racism

Suspicious he's ineligible? Racism

Critical of his ties to a known domestic terrorist? Racism

Concerned about the racist church he proudly claimed membership in? Racism

Even his own AG blamed opposition to his policies on racism

And the whole time the left tut tutted about how it was inappropriate to even question even the one or two legitimate concerns there, like Obama's associations

Suddenly those things are perfectly OK (and I agree- they should be)

The upside to your hypocrisy is if the GOP wins, demo will start giving a sh!t about the separation of powers again- and maybe even DoJ's responsibility to prosecute criminals at the IRS

It's been confirmed that there was such an event in Detroit that year, and Westmoreland did attend. It happened in February, not May. A minor issue about a minor issue. Actually, the event being in February makes more sense, since by May, most top high school students are already signed, sealed and delivered to their college.

Did you see Carson during the debate Tuesday night? Is this seriously the problem you want to discuss about Carson?

Focusing on this only helps Carson. There's really no doubt the event happened largely as he described it. People understand that, and are concluding the media are picking on him.

Maybe, for example, we should be concerned that he is advocating a flat tax, without being able to explain how he would manage the budget, given such a significant drop in tax revenue. Or that he reads allegorical stories as literal truth, etc.
 Nice try.

The more I see him the more I think he is medicated. Do you think he could be taking something to help control the violent impulses that caused him to attack at least one other person with a knife? :?

I have had that same thought. Sometimes he seems to be on some form of tranquilizer. He also seems like that passive guy on the news who one day erupts and wipes out his family. And the neighbor says, "He was always so calm." Yea, let's give that guy the football. :?

Our company didn't raise premiums this year, hooray!

But I chose the top plan so that I can $500 deposited into a HSA on January 1. Plus, my wife and I are doing a health screening and will get an additional $700 deposited into the HSA. It's hard turning down $1,200 that we can use towards a $2,600 deductible, if we need it.

I feel if you use less and less of your insurance on things other than wellness/preventative care that you should receive some sort of discount.

Uhhhh...no. Your savings should not be given back to you...it should be used to help someone else. That's how we're rolling these days you selfish cunt.

Westmoreland, a grad, would know that as well. So why even use the word? It's just odd.
So you don't have to serve after graduating? :?
No. Ask the, "Admiral."

No big deal though...that guy would have bumped his head on a ship so many times he would have received an early medical discharge.

WASHINGTON — Republican presidential contender Ben Carson has maintained a business relationship with a close friend convicted of defrauding insurance companies and testified on his behalf, even as the candidate has called for such crimes to be punished harshly.

Pittsburgh dentist Alfonso A. Costa pleaded guilty to a felony count of health care fraud after an FBI probe into his oral surgery practice found he had charged for procedures he never performed, according to court records.

Though the crime carries a potential sentence of up to 10 years in federal prison, Costa was able to avoid prison time after Carson helped petition a federal judge for leniency.

That's different from the position Carson took in 2013 as he prepared to launch his presidential campaign, saying those convicted of health care fraud should go to prison for at least a decade and be forced to forfeit "all of one's personal possessions."
