Fortunately, this country is a lot more resilient than people give it credit it for so we've got a ways to go before we approach End Days. We survived Fillmore, Pierce and Buchanan as well as Harding, Coolidge and Hoover so we should be able to survive this stretch.

The anger/dissatisfaction with the established political order will likely lead to more unrest and uncertainty but could and will hopefully lead to better leadership in the long-term. Sometimes you have to hit bottom or close to it before you can start the climb.

Agreed except for Johnson- he gave us the 2 massive, unsustainable, entitlement programs, medicare and medicaid, that are going to bury us financially. For that he drops down at least 2 spots..at least below Clinton...
