To have a third of your delegation boycotting a Presidential Inauguration tells you all you need to know about how much they care about our country as a whole.

That registered democrat nat security advisor was promoted by Obama as a general and nominated by Obama to head the DIA. Looks like Trump made a mistake by appointing an Obama guy as nat sec advisor..

I honestly don't get why people would even think to argue that the problem for the Republican Party in terms of where things appear to be going with respect to the evolution of the US population isn't obvious. Why anybody would think that it's the Democrat Party that has to worry about its long term viability is a complete mystery.

Oh the Donks have big problems ahead for their Party. The DNC hurt them very badly in the primary and all those folks who stayed home in the election haven't forgotten the DNC's tactics or their strategy of "they have to come back to us for the general election and vote for Hillary because of the alternative".

The divide among the UD intelligentsia is interesting. Bernie versus Hillary is still a raging sore. However, the wimmen are ridiculous, especially the older ones. They still support Hillary and are blaming Bernie folks for taking away HER election.

They'll unite though. Chicks are amazingly resilient...and overly emotional. So, they will heal and unite under the Dem flag again while tossing out logic and completely ignoring the financial issues and the racial and bigoted problems of their own party. It's how they roll.

Republicans haven't gotten that high a percentage of the White vote at least as far back as the exit polls I linked (back to 1976) are reported. Trump got 57% of the White vote.

I mean, I always say "unless the underlying dynamic changes." And it's always possible the underlying dynamic can change. But so far I sure don't see any evidence that it's changing.
