When you smoke until you fall asleep, your maxed out despite the potency of the pot. We always had a bong, and hit it until the last person was awake. All natural or maybe a little hash mixed in or just hash. Depended what was available. Shi t gave me heart palpitations, so I quit.Ibanez wrote:especially with todays weed.Skjellyfetti wrote:

Depends on the strandIbanez wrote:especially with todays weed.Skjellyfetti wrote:

The weed bars in Amsterdam had menus which described each strand, its' effects, potency, taste, etc. I asked the bartender there for "something that won't make me die." He knew exactly what I was talking about and gave us some really mellow stuff. It was great (both the weed and the concept).
I haven't bought anything in Colorado or Canashington yet, but I think it'd be pretty stupid for them not to follow the same concept. Maybe one of the WC(b) girls here could explain further.

Of course it depends on the strand, but it's still stronger than what was around in the 70s ( for instance).bandl wrote:Depends on the strandIbanez wrote: especially with todays weed.

GannonFan wrote:Sin taxes are generally risky things to undertake - when government starts deciding what is and isn't a sin then you get questionable results. Obviously abusing most anything results in negative consequences. But we do have freedom in this country to make bad choices if we want to. This tax, though, is a poorly conceived tax also simply because of it's scope - the city of Philadelphia is not that big in the grand scheme of things - if you want to avoid the tax, you don't need to go very far to buy the same beverage at a fraction of the cost. So of course people do that and and as a result, jobs in the city are lost. The city has countered that it's also hired something like 250 preschool teachers (the tax is supposed to go to funding of early intervention schooling, but once it was implemented more than half of it went to other priorities) so there's suspicious numbers on both sides.
