If the "green" bill passes the Senate just watch what happens to gas prices.

Speaking of the green bill, Jules Crittendon has a funny post today-

...I blame Cleets and his Big Oil profiteering.
(This is a whole different issue) however - ExxonMobil, Shell, Total, BP, and Chevron, already signed no-bid contracts with the Iraqi government. Western oil conglomerates have had a significant stake in Iraqi oil for much of the last century until the government nationalized the industry in 1972.

But we'll cover that in another Cleets Inc. Essay... :coffee:

I go to fill up this morning for the $2.42 advertised price. I put my card in, and the price jumps to $2.50/gallon! I hate this cash/credit price BS - I know there's a fee for credit card transactions vs. cash, but it's chaps my a$$ when they do this. Anybody experience this when buying gas?

$2.79 here. Crossing my fingers that Mahindra will get their compact diesel pickups here before cash for clunkers expires. 30+ mpg and carry 1.3 tons.
You matter. Unless you multiply yourself by c squared. Then you energy.

NO. the price on the pump is the price you pay.

one station
tried it in Cedar Falls but lost all customers until they changed it back. Most gas stations already make atleast 7 or 8 cents per gallon by they way they set prices, if not more

That's what I'd prefer - just put it in your price up front. Some stations will advertise a "cash" price here and I'll steer clear. Today I needed gas pretty bad and the station just showed what turned out to be their cash price on their road sign.
