I deal with Federal Regulators at work. We got an MRA last year to update our Business Continuity Plan b/c we didn't take into account how long it would take to rebuild our corporate HQ if it were subject to a 9/11 type attack. Not the displacement of workers or work efforts. Actual construction of a 50+ floor building. :ohno: And we're an InfoSec group. Not corp realty or anything like that.
Try dealing with the process of writing the statues. Dealing with the end result is bad enough, trying to get the point across that if they write it x way, y is going to be the result. Then they ask why and don't believe your answer.

Dealing with one right now that with how it is written will add enough cost to the machine to drive away manufactures from selling in that region.

Guys I deal with had federal audit a couple of weeks ago. They have card access to some of their facilities. If you leave employment they have to document that they recovered and/or deactivated your card. They had an employee retire, last day was a Friday. The IT guy got the card back, deactivated it and documented that he did so. Under the rules his supervisor has to sign off on the form as well. Supervisor was not there on that Friday so he verified and signed the form on Monday. :bad: :bad: They got wrote up because the supervisor did not verify the same day. Potentially could be fined for this. Ultimately they will have to go through an appeal process, that comes with an expense, to get this stupidty take care of.

I think you’re both quite funny. Funnier than Ursus even. But not Grizo funny yet.

Being funnier than Ursus isn't that hard.

Grizo is only funny when he falls down which happens a lot
