Re: Here we go again (Brunswick, Georgia)
I almost bought a home in Satilla Shores about 15 years ago. A very pleasant older subdivision with some nice houses on the deep water or the marsh. Detached from the city but just a few hundred yards off of I-95. This isn't a neighborhood where you're just passing through. It is surrounded by marsh and water, so you're only there if you live there or visiting people who live there, and pretty much everyone in there knows or knows of everyone else.
Maybe the guy had no business in there, who really knows, but these two wannabe vigilantes yahoos should be strung up in public on the courthouse steps.

Murder, likely un-premeditated
That's where this should end up
On a side note - you have the right to resist an unlawful arrest. So the citizen's arrest claim wouldn't fly anyway unless it can proven that the victim was in fact committing property crimes in the area, AND that the pickup truck guys had a reasonable suspicion of that. So good luck with that one.

um... that might be the least shocking part about this whole thing

McMichael, son of Brunswick District Attorney walks away a free man at the end of this
if it hadn't been for the video footage this wouldn't even be a ripple on the radar

All the previous President did was divide and divide and divide. The media doesn't help either.Skjellyfetti wrote: ↑Wed May 06, 2020 12:47 pm Trump has done a poor job healing the racial divisions of the country.

That's pretty clear. The shooting occured Feb 23.
No one heard about it until a radio station posted the video on YouTube this week.

KYjelly, I am sorry. I was wrong and you are right. Trump is not playing the race card correctly. Would you please teach him the logistics of when/how to correctly manipulate the media to his benefit?

The GBI is an assisting agency, and only gets involved upon request.

Unless there’s a hell of a lot more to the story, the prosecuting attorney should be in jail too.
