“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

There is no evidence that she participated in the destruction of property. Even if she did, summary, extra-judicial execution is not the appropriate punishment.

They say they will be performing trials later, so hopefully we'll see.

If you're trespassing as part of a violent mob and are approaching armed guards who are telling you to leave...then sure. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. There's that saying that people love to say when a black guy is killed at a police stop, Comply and you won't die, something like that...? No, you really don't apply the same standard. If you did, you'd be pissed that there are thousands of dead Antifa and BLM lying the streets. What they have done was far worse than a bunch of yahoos who entered the capitol to conduct what amounted to little more than a 60s leftist sit-in at some university.Ibanez wrote: ↑Thu Sep 16, 2021 11:10 amI do apply the same standard to BLM and Antifa, you twat. That's called trespassing.
Why don't you apply the same standards to BLM and Antifa, who actually do assault people and destroy property? Hell, they even tried to burn down buildings where federal agents and cops were inside. Shouldn't that have resulted in mass killings of BLM an Antifa in the streets?

And it’s what I can’t stand about the extremes. I’m sorry, but you break into the US Capitol, you’d better expect to get shot (at, at least). I don’t give a FF WHAT color you are….but people will defend/praise/attack the action depending on color of skin/political orientation. Bullshit.
To be clear, I’m not even saying she was wrong. I’m just saying, you break in, climb through a window, etc., etc., you’d better expect lead flying your direction. Did it have some similarities to "a 60s leftist sit-in at some university"? Yes, but the reality that it occurred at the US Capitol makes it exponentially worse. January 6 was really bad because it occurred at the Capitol and was an attempt to subvert the process of certifying the election. The BLM/AnTiFa riots were really bad because of how long they lasted, the number of people involved, the amount of damage done and because they were attacks on government buildings. They were different but to say that one was "far worse" than the other is disingenuous and blatantly partisan.CitadelGrad wrote: ↑Fri Sep 17, 2021 10:04 amNo, you really don't apply the same standard.
