If he rode the media-created mirage about him being some great Covid warrior to the donk nomination there will be a lot more digging and light shined on what he did and he won't have a lot of grounds to criticize Trump or DeSantis. Also pressured various State officials to falsify election results. That's pretty bad. He tried to leverage US Aid to get a foreign country to announce an investigation into what he expected to be his likely opponent in the next election so he could use that. He told White House counsel to falsify a record during the Mueller investigation. So on and so forth.

It's not close. He clearly was the most corrupt President of our lifetimes.
