Interesting if true. It's the usual. Election is going to come down to Trump needing to win three states and his chances are better now due to the census results.

No, Charlie. The legal system is indicting Trump because he committed crimes.

Then Bragg's case should be a slam dunk shouldn't it?

FTR: I never bothered to watch SG's video.

Basic premise of the 4 min video is most swing states states no changes:
-FL, OH, NC, IA stay red.
-PA, MI, NV, NH stay blue.
*He had Maine showing all blue, which isn‘t going to be the case IMHO. Maine 2020 with their split EC votes was 2 blue/1 red, and considering the 1 red district went for Trump by 7, that will stay red. OTOH he had NE showing all red, when it will likely be same as 2020 4 red/1 blue. The guests did memtion this.

It was basically keep all of 2020 the same except GA, WI, and AZ. Those are the 3 states conks have the best chances of flipping back to red. 2020 that would have resulted in a 269-269 tie. Because of Census EC reaportionmemt, 2024 that would be 272-266 Trump. So the basic premise of the video was the election will come down to those 3 states/basically 7 counties.

*Not in video: Those 3 states 2020 went Biden by about 40k votes, less than 0.4%. I think tjey certainly would have gone red if not for suppression of the Hunter laptop. Only would have needed to flip 20k votes, less than 0.2%/1 vote in 500.

Suppressing the Hunter laptop was wrong but there’s no guarantee it would have made a difference. Biden voters might have disregarded it the same way that trump voters disregarded his sexual assaults, grab them by the pussy, history of cheating subcontractors, etc.

I love it when trump voters give Biden voters credit for possibly having more scruples then they themselves have.

Column: How Disney’s lawyers brutally mauled DeSantis over control of Disney World

Did you really believe that Florida’s arrogant Gov. Ron DeSantis would get the better of Walt Disney Co. in their fight over Disney’s supposed “wokeness”?

If so, you don’t know your Disney.

DeSantis handpicked a board of cronies to take over control of Reedy Creek Improvement District — the quasi-governmental entity that Disney and Florida established more than 55 years ago to control development and management of the land on which Walt Disney World, EPCOT and the company’s related enterprises are located.

There’s not a lot to suggest that the legal team assembled by one of the most powerful entities on the planet asked GPT to throw together a slapdash agreement.
— Joe Patrice, former corporate litigator and ‘Above the Law’ blogger

DeSantis’ board has now revealed that, while they were snoozing, Disney executed an agreement with their predecessors that strips the new board of all its powers except the authority to “maintain the roads and maintain basic infrastructure,” according to one of the new board members.

Hilariously, the agreement Disney reached will remain in effect at least until 21 years “after the death of the last survivor of the descendants of King Charles III, King of England,” currently living. More on this delicious provision in a moment. First, let’s get a legal commentator’s opinion of where the Disney-DeSantis battle currently stands.

“DeSantis may well try to toss legally executed agreements in the rubbish,” wrote former corporate litigator Joe Patrice on his blog “Above the Law,” “but there’s not a lot to suggest that the legal team assembled by one of the most powerful entities on the planet asked GPT to throw together a slapdash agreement.” Did you really believe that Florida’s arrogant Gov. Ron DeSantis would get the better of Walt Disney Co. in their fight over Disney’s supposed “wokeness”?

The donks are having their 2024 convention in Chicago? :suspicious: Illinois is one of only 3 non coastal solid blue states. IL is deep blue. Donks having their convention in deep blue state gives them no benefit (would be same as conks having their convention in a deep red state).

As mentioned on this thread prior, only 7-8 states are going to matter in 2024, and the election could come down to 3 (GA, WI, AZ) It would make the most sense then to have your convention in Atlanta, Milwaukee, or Phoenix. Conks are having their’s in Milwaukee. Certainly doesn’t make any sense to have your convention (either side) not in a big city in one of those 7-8 states. In addition to the 3 above: NC (Charlotte), PA (Philly or Pitt), MI (Detroit) or NV (Vegas). Some/most of those have hosted before.

Meh....maybe for those on the fence. For the base, it wouldn't move the needle. If an adulterous, non-religious corrupt businessman can win after bragging how he can sexually assault women b/c he's rich and at the same time pay off porn stars he's banged, then anything is possible. It's all about winning and sticking it to the other party. It's not about representing the party or even being a good candidate.

Shit, the Republicans once impeached a guy for lying about getting a blow job. What happened to the party of "family values?"

I completely forgot that the rest of the theme parks down there are not Disney owned, so yes it does change my reply to Ibanez. :)

I would also have to look into how their contracts are setup vs Disney. If there are set up the same way, then they should be treated the same. But if they are not, then it would depend on how the contracts are setup with the state.

If we assume all the theme parks are setup the same, then Ibanez and your statements would be correct. :twocents:

Trump has 'outfoxed' DeSantis, is 'making a fool of him': James Carville
Carville says DeSantis has "managed to make Disney and Donald Trump a mortal enemy" but that ultimately DeSantis has miscalculated. Carville called DeSantis's Disney battle a stunt, saying the problem is "when you govern by stunts, you just have to come up with more stunts."
