Netanyahu is one of the top 5 greatest leaders of a country in the last 500 years.
I wish the USA had a guy like that, all we have are rich slimeball politicians that never accomplished anything in life except to get rich and steal from the USA as a member of congress. Then we have Trump who is as close as we will ever get. 99% never served in the military unlike Netanyahu.
Israel needs to strike Iran 3 more times and go heavy on infrastructure, and oil targets. Cut Irans money off by taking out oil.
Netanyahu is doing the world another favor taking out these guys

Re: Israel Strikes Iran
Always interesting how this plays out. I'm not sure Israel can really allow Iran to have nuclear weapons. If Iran did have nuclear weapons, and could deploy them against Israel, would the rest of the world do anything to stop it or punish Iran afterwards? A lot of the Middle East would be fine with Isreal wiped off the map (and probably fine if the Palestinians are collateral damage). The US could retaliate, but I'm not sure we would. Probably just continue the sanctions for another few decades. And Europe would do what they do best - sit on the sidelines and do very little. The rest of the Middle East probably wouldn't care for a nuclear Iran, but not quite the existential threat to them that Iran would represent to Israel.

You can bet that there is a very large contingent of middle eastern countries who are secretly cheering for Israel to wipe Iran off the map. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if some are secretly providing assistance in some form or another.GannonFan wrote: ↑Fri Jun 13, 2025 11:56 am Always interesting how this plays out. I can't imagine Israel doesn't have a doomsday scenario planned where if they're "wiped off the map" then Iran is too.

Ukraine could easily do the same with Russia if Trump wasn't chickenshit about all things Putin and sent them what they need.Bobcat wrote: ↑Fri Jun 13, 2025 10:15 am Netanyahu is one of the top 5 greatest leaders of a country in the last 500 years.

Did the Biden Billionaire Puppet Presidency have a chance to do that, or wasn't it profitable for his billionaire clan. Maybe it's not profitable to Trump's billionaire clan either. Depends on the best way to make money.houndawg wrote: ↑Sat Jun 14, 2025 6:25 amUkraine could easily do the same with Russia if Trump wasn't chickenshit about all things Putin and sent them what they need.Bobcat wrote: ↑Fri Jun 13, 2025 10:15 am Netanyahu is one of the top 5 greatest leaders of a country in the last 500 years.

If only someone had negotiated a deal with Iran that limited uranium enrichment production, allowed for constant inspections, etc.

Ok, so let’s hear your complete analysis of the Obama deal and also how it was going before being sacked by Trump.

Re: Israel Strikes Iran
Even the most optimistic take on the Obama era Iran deal was that it would delay them getting nuclear weapons by maybe a decade at best. The criticism of that deal was that it was more a pathway to getting nukes, not a barrier. And in the meantime, with all the concessions we made to free up Iranian money, that money would go into funding the proxy groups that Iran had in place to attack Israel - Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. It was a classic "peace in our time" document that didn't really guarantee anything while kicking the nuclear can down the road for a decade.
I'm not sure how we can ever trust the regime currently in place in Iran to ever have enrichment of uranium without converting them to weapons. Given their behavior to continue funding attacks on Israel through proxy groups, and given their published desire to wipe Israel from the map, I'm inclined to agree with Israel that Iran can never be allowed to have nuclear weapons. Maybe once they get a different government the calculus changes, but not under this regime.

Re: Israel Strikes Iran
A terrible treaty that didn’t allow for unannounced, anytime, anywhere inspections, and gave Iran access to a gigantic amount of $$ to put back into their Nuke program and fund their terrorist proxies. Wasn’t going to stop Iran from getting nukes.
