Maybe states need to impound federal taxes in order to root out waste and fraud.

A lot of $$ paid by the states isn’t returned to any states: it’s swallowed up by DC or ends up overseas (military, foreign aid, etc).

Already 17 years, 16 billion federal dollars alone, zero track laid, and won’t be done by mid mid 2030s. How much longer should the boondoggle be kept going?

There is a big difference between withholding federal funding for the rail line and withholding federal funding for a slew of California initiatives and institutions. It tramples all over states rights and it's fair for California politicians to ask why they should send any money to Washington DC if trum pis going to use it as a club to try and force California to do what the current regime wants.

Hegseth won’t commit to obeying courts on Marines in Los Angeles

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth refused to say whether he would follow the courts if they ruled against President Donald Trump’s deployment of active-duty Marines to Los Angeles.

The Pentagon chief repeatedly deflected when asked Thursday at a House Armed Services Committee hearing whether he would respect a federal district or Supreme Court decision on the issue.

If he refuses to follow a court order maybe he should be charged with contempt, arrested and moved around so the trump regime can't find him to try and force his release.
