Difference Between Conservatives & Liberals

Interesting to note:
I remember reading an essay that showed that conservatives donated more to charity than liberals - on a national level...

as much as I hate (HATE) to agree with Citdog... he might have a point (this time)

no... he doesn't... red states are net suckers of the federal teat... whereas blue states are net contributors to the federal coffers... and it isn't even close...

Around here we refer to blue states as "America" and red states as "Dumbfvckistan".

I know that's what he alleging. Just saying Citdog and TTBF were talking bout two totally different things.

Post your links/info so we can get to the bottom of this. I think he's right. We work hard in the Midwest and North (Blue) and our major urban areas are prosperous compared to the South (Red) and the lazy republican trailer park, uneducated voting base.

If a liberal is homosexual, he loudly demands legislated respect.

If a black man or Hispanic are conservative, they see themselves as independently successful.
Their liberal counterparts see themselves as victims in need of government protection.

If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.

If a conservative doesn’t like a talk show host, he switches channels.
Liberals demand that those they don’t like be shut down.

If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn’t go to church.
A liberal non-believer wants any mention of God or religion silenced.

If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his.
