Wish he woulda run for Mayor this year.danefan wrote:My favorite local rep by far. If only his last name wasn't Weiner.
Oh, I had a good conversation with a Bloomberg worker the other day.
They were canvassing voters and they knocked on my door... She asked if I was supporting Bloomberg. I said no... she asked why and I said because he has no business running for another term... he and his buddies on the city council went against the wishes of the voters. She asked if I thought he was doing a good job,... i said he wasn't horrible but he wasn't great either... so she said so why not support him... i said again because he has no business running... I then went on about the negative campaigning, i have gotten 50 pieces of mail this year from bloomberg and not one has been this is why you should vote for Bloomberg its all attacks on Thompson. She said so then are you voting for Thompson... I said.. lady I would vote for Charles Manson before I vote for Bloomberg. I later told a Yankee fan friend that I would become a Yankee fan before voting for Bloomberg.

This is my favorite kind of weiner...

Hebrew National comes in a close second. Simply because of the name though I will never allow them to be #1 on my list.

I concur... The Joo dog is good, but it doesn't have that same taste/crisp snap that the Nathan's dog does.wideright82 wrote:bandl wrote:This is my favorite kind of weiner...

Re: Ladies & Gentlemen, Representative Anthony Weiner
That's pretty cool. But do we really need 6 and a half fucking minutes of hotdogs being shot out of a fucking cannon?JMU DJ wrote:bandl wrote:

Hey Douchnoggle, I posted a shorter version.... besides, can the Nationals even afford to provide hot dogs to their fans?bandl wrote:

Re: Ladies & Gentlemen, Representative Anthony Weiner
Actually, the Nationals are one of the most well run organizations in baseball, money-wise. They don't spend any money on the players, so of COURSE they have plenty of money to spend on hot dogs!!!JMU DJ wrote:Hey Douchnoggle, I posted a shorter version.... besides, can the Nationals even afford to provide hot dogs to their fans?bandl wrote:

Re: Ladies & Gentlemen, Representative Anthony Weiner
Looking for some help on the 3% overhead thing if anyone knows...I read a few months ago that the 3% does not include many of the costs that the normal Insurance industry has/does include in their overhead categories. I can't remember where I read it but a lot of the salaries of those that administer are in the general operating category or something to that effect. The actual # for overhead was something closer to 40%, does anyone know if that is true?
