Yep...but those damn hippies are costing undocumented workers jobs in the CV (& residual fees to local convenience stores that send mony to Mexico) all in the name of saving the bay from the pesticides needed for CV to be the bread basket of the world....see, the bay's gonna die from oil anyway, might as well saved the undocumented jobs and allowed the Agricorps to use cheap labor to increase their profit margin....friggin' hippies....

The Coast Guard and state authorities are responding this morning to an oil spill from a tanker fuel line that has left a mile-and-a-half long sheen south of the Bay Bridge.

The spill was reported at 6:48 a.m. at a spot about 2.5 miles south of the bridge near Anchorage Nine, the Coast Guard said.

The vessel involved is the Panamanian-based Dubai Star, an approximately 600-foot tanker that was taking fuel from a barge when a fuel line ruptured, spilling an "unknown amount" of fuel oil onto the deck and then into the water. The vessel's crew was able to shut down the fuel pump to prevent additional leakage.

San Francisco has been a long time American lung associations A+ Air Quality City
A list which Missoula has never qualified for... as they are presently rated at F
