Ummm, Libby wasn't convicted for "outing" Plame.

Ummmm, he was convicted of obstruction of justice and perjury in the Grand Jury investigation of the CIA leak case involving Plame. Why was he willing to lie and go to jail for it?

Because he and Armitage are frat brothers?

Really? He talks tough and is a savvy businessman and politician, but what has he done in life that would qualify him as a rough man?

Short primer on his history: Flunked out of Yale, finished up at Wyoming, got a DUI, applied and received five deferments from the Vietnam-era draft, became a Congressional intern leading to a career inside the beltway, started a few wars, and blew the cover of a CIA agent whose husband he didn't like (among many other shenanigans).

I said that he was a rough man politically speaking. Maybe I was not clear enough. I don't care about his DUI, Vietnam or the CIA thing (especially since I know that Plame's unnecessary cover (she was an analyst) had already been burned about two years earlier).

I don't care about those things just like I don't care if a soldier likes to be a cross-dresser in his off time, or a teacher has a DUI, or a governor screws around on his wife. They are still useful and so is Dick Cheney, and that is my opinion.

Don't care because you think Cheney would have left her alone if she really was under cover, or don't care about that sort of retaliation in general?
