And in celebration of EARTH DAY we're going to dump a quarter million gallons of crude oil a day into the ocean....

We disconnected one of our towns from the grid today and ran 5 large diesel generators to power the town for 8 hours. Normally this town is powered by 50% renewable energy from the grid - wind and hydro. Instead we burnt 3500 gallons of diesel fuel to create lots of air pollution plus they are noisy bastards so we created lots of noise pollution too. Plus all that good renewable energy wasn't used.

Happy Earth Day, we should celebrate the increase of green plants on the earth due to more carbon dioxide, the bountiful crops due to man's technological advances, increase in the number of redwood trees due to selective harvest, clean highway ditches because of the peon's like me that walked the highways as far back as the summer of love cleaning up other people's shiat, etc, etc
