That's where you're wrong, D. It's not how they're PERCEIVED at all. It's how they're REPRESENTED. It's what stories the media chooses to cover. And which it chooses to ignore. On BOTH sides. Fox news presents Obama as the anti-Christ. MSNBC presents him as the second coming of Christ. Neither is right. And if yo think the bitterness, hatred and division is just going to evaporate, I want some of what you're smoking.

A) we didn't start the war against terror. Osama Bin Laden did.
B) Bush didn't invent lying to the American people. If you think THAT, you're a lost cause.
C) If you think BUSH spent your money like a drunken sailor, you're in for a VERY rude awakening.

Your guy did win...no doubt about that...

But did your ideas win...I doubt that since lots of the votes that propelled your guy to victory were not pro-Obama votes, but anti-Bush votes...People wanted him out so bad that the fact the Democrats finally put forth a candidate that wasn't a complete putz allowed them to vote for Obama...

Your vision of the future...If your have truely posted your vision of the future, and it wasn't just part of a show (your words, this is theater), then your vision must be short term, because it will start changing in two years with the mid-term elections...that's when democrats will start losing seats because the expectations people have projected onto Obama and the democrats will not be realized...Reality meets expectations, and reality wins each and every time...
