Living in and voting in Florida means I don't have a dog in this hunt- we have enough entertainment in politics right here thank you- so I would propose that both of the delaware candidates are flawed and both have unseemly skeletons in the closet...

BUT... it seems only one of the candidates has come out in favor of lower govt spending and lower taxes.

I would be interested in that as well...

Not really surprising..

Many of our leaders, be they Republicans or Democrats (really the same party under closer inspection) do very strange occult ceremonies many might call witchcraft. One example is the now becoming famous Bohemian Grove here in California (near Occidental):

Reagan and Nixon at Bohemian Grove.

Pretty interesting stuff that's not too often brought up.

Just for fun:

This is all hilarious. O'Donnell talks about dabbling in witchcraft and it is pure evil. Bill Clinton fucked another woman other than his wife and he is a hero.

Fucked up priorities by the Dims is exactly why Obama's team is acting like rats jumping off a sinking ship.

But keep those whack-jobs out of my White House and away from my children!

Clinton may be a hero to some now because he is an ex-President, Presidents usually become more popular after they are out of office. He was not considered a hero at the end of his second term, the Dems running for office that year did their best to distance themselves from him.

MSNBC broadcasting live from the Deer Park tonight. Big broadcast truck in the parking lot One of their reporters is doing a follow up on Christine.

Probably also there for 1/2 price burger night. :thumb:

Not to be missed: the Bimini Ring game. My son hit 13 ringers! :notworthy:

I know it goes without saying, but I caught the first 10 minutes of Maddow at Deer Park (on TV) and just continue to be amazed at why anyone would regularly watch MSNBC or Fox News. Why would you want a party platform spoon-fed to you? Does anyone think for themselves any more?

Don't answer. It's too depressing.

Yeah, yeah, yeah...politics....blah, blah, blah. Maddow, shmaddow. What...no love for my 6 year old son hitting the target 13 times? No love for the half priced burgers? Next time, try to focus on the important parts of the post.

Yeah, yeah. We all dragged a few fat chicks out of the Deer Park back in the day on a Wednesday night. I'm glad to hear the Deer Park is still ruling Wednesdays. At least in my days there (89-93), it was always What the Buck? ($1 Mooseheads) at a place called the Down Under (which is now gone) on Tuesday, Deer Park on Wednesday, and mug night at the Balloon on Thursday (also gone). I don't believe my liver ever recovered.

Best date I ever went on was at the Balloon on my birthday in '86 - Annie Haslam and Renaissance - squeezed into the shallow "pit" in front of the stage, sat on the floor right in front of the mic - it was like Annie was singing just to me.

Oh yeah, my date didn't like it that I totally ignored her all night - we broke up soon after...

Yep, that was my schedule too. Brings back good memories (or lack of memory on some nights :? ) :thumb:

BTW, the Down Under had damn good wings for a buck a basket on What the Buck night.

Now Christine has an ad out in which she says she didn't go to Yale. (Coons was Amherst undergrad, Yale Law.) What's next? Del State?

Some would say she didn't go to Fairleigh Dickinson, either.

I can't recall the schedule. We did MNF at Down Under. DP was definitely Wed, plus 2 or 3 more nights a week. Balloon was rare for me, never really liked the Balloon. I know that's blasphemy to many, but it was like a fraternity party where you had to pay for beer.

The Baloon was more tolerable if you knew a couple of the bartenders. ;)

BTW, if you ordered a draft beer at the Baloon, it didn't matter what the tap said you were drinking, you were drinking Piels. Those were the only kegs they bought. :D

True enough. :D

That same stench made its way down to the Bottle and Cork for the summer months.

I learned to find the stench to be somewhat endearing. ;)
