Is there a third party candidate that could rise up and pull votes from the Dems and Reps?
God I hope so. Leeza Mircowski being the first write-in candidate to win a senate seat since Strom Thurmond in the 50's is a positive sign. If the recovery continues to stall and no strong candidates emerge, third party and alternative candidates might become a viable trend.
Gosh, kalm, the Alaskan vote police would've thrown out your write-in ballot for Lisa Murkowski! :kisswink:

Now imagine if the tea party candidate had been the write-in.

(Then multiply that times 50 in a presidential election) :thumb:

And if (God forbid) she is the Republican candidate, it will GUARANTEE my vote goes independent (which it most likely will anyways).... :coffee:
That's pretty much how I feel.

What the left should be afraid of is the fact that right now she actually polls pretty well next to Obama. THAT'S what's scary, considering that he's The One, and all.

That sounds like Marty Stouffer's "Wild America", only with less wildlife and more annoying, nasal voice-over.

Wedgie, your schvantz must have been chewed off by an elk. That's a gross insult to our greatest living First Lady and way too charitable to the former "Run Away!" governor of Alaska. 8-) :dunce:

I've been to Wasilla several times
and it's in the middle of nowhere - an hour north of Anchorage - and Anchorage is in the middle of nowhere

Well, if you're going to nitpick, Anchorage-Wasilla according to Yahoo maps, its 42 miles, 44 min. For any rural state, that qualifies as just outside of.

If Sarah proves to me conclusively that she shaves her quim I'll not only vote for her but donate to her campaign.

As for Barbara, I really enjoyed her first hand account about crossing the Delaware River in that snowstorm. She was a great leader of men and kicked some british ass!
