You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. YOU are living proof of that, D. These people were given every chance in the BOOK. They either chose not to take advantage of those chances, or didn't believe us when we said that the repercussions would be "up to and including termination." My supervisors have better things to do than babysit deadweight. If you are ever in a position of authority and leadership, rather than just serving soup in a soup kitchen, you'll understand that.

On second thought, go ask your brother. I'm SURE (even though he's a red-blooded, entitlement mentality donk himself) he's had to fire someone in his life.

There are THIRTY FIVE WaMu branches available for purchase JUST in Phoenix. That means 35 branch managers, 35 ABM's, 35 loan officers, and about 300 tellers all looking for work. It's NOT a good time to be a slacker...there are some REAL good people out there and they're hungry as hell.
