This is no suprise to me. They've been struggling for a few years now. Companies on the fringe like this one are gonna have a hard time hanging on in this economy. This is less about the current economic downturn than overly aggressive expansion, overly leveraged growth, and poor business plans. You are not going to out-cheap/compete with dicounters like TJMaxx, and WalMart, they've been doing it too long.
