I hadn't heard of these ghost cities before, it was really interesting. You'd think a communist nation would provide "equal" housing to everyone with the money they're getting from their large and cheap workforce, but we all obviously know that China isn't communist in the purest sense. That said, while completely opposite of our values here, giving away those units to people who can't afford it may kick-start those cities and bring economic growth to them. It could be a good long-term investment to just hand them out for free, but I'm not an economist so I don't know hoe that stuff works. Plus I'm not a dirty commie so I don't believe in giving stuff out for free.
