Having seen this photo of his wife, I think Zimmerman was trying to shoot himself and hit Martin by accident.

People seem to think that since Bill Clinton got away with it that perjury is somehow no big deal. Judges dont like it when you jerk them around, no matter how minor it might be.

Google around until you find the full version of the walkthrough video and full version of the voice stress analysis video instead of the chopped up versions that the mainstream media is putting up. You get a better view of the whole picture of his story then. I'm inclined to agree with you. Similar, yet different. We don't know if Zimmerman followed Martin to the shooting, or if he was on his way back and Martin followed Zimmerman to the shooting.
