Meanwhile, a sick infant is one of the saddest things I've seen. Poor kid.
We're self insured. It's $1900/month for two adults and two kids. When it was just me and the boys and the wife purchased her own insurance there was no co-pay and the deductible was $1500 for all three. I have clients with all kinds of varying insurance coverage but for those without insurance at all they get a sliding scale rate and I basically work for nothing. I'm assuming this Dr visit was similar to this type of situation.
