Hey kalm.
Nice out of context quote. It was in reference to hospital visits which Tman was attributing to the deleterious physical affects of weed. Of course there can be long term affects. :coffee:

On a previous thread I specifically asked for pro-pot people to post their agreement that it was not harmless. I think maybe I got one response back. :coffee:
who cares if its harmless or not?

i could care less if it makes peoples guts explode and their heads pop off

This concept is lost on 89hen and T-man...
They are less government right up until you say Woman or Pot then they become Nanny State Fans

i think the idea is that unhealthy lifestyles become everybody's business because everybody is paying

and the government has an interest in telling you not to drink booze, eat big macs or smoke cigarettes or dope

in spite of that I still dont give a sh1t... it is our destiny that this government will ultimately kill our lifestyles while trying to improve them and it will bankrupt us in the process- and there is nothing we can do about it

so smoke and drink up while you still can for less than 30 dollars a pop

Not a big fan of pop, and I certainly wouldn't pay 30 dollars for it.

Dammit,
I was waiting for Flagtard to tell me all about the dangers of Marijuana and how its all about the healthcare system and additional expenses treating pot smokers... and what do you do - but come crashing through my trap - and f**ck it all up...

BUT: The idea of pot being illegal because of our present healthcare system is so damned stupid I wanted Flaggy to share his deep insights into the "smart way to deal with Marijuana" and all that

Sorry Cleets, major fail here. Show one instance where I said pot shouldn't be legal. You'll be searching a long time. My entire contention on several threads for the past several years is that there will be a LOT more problems with the legalization of pot than some of you will admit. :coffee:

Sorry for being late to the party, Chizzy.
Do you think warning labels on the sammich baggies should have stronger language? Currently they say this:
“There may be health risks associated with the consumption of this product.”
“This product was produced without regulatory oversight for health, safety, or efficacy.”

Oh, and like 89hen, I never said it should be illegal. I'm saying that if flies in the opposite direction of the ACA.

Who cares what the warning label says..?
Nobody reads them - on anything - And how does raw sugar not have the LARGEST WARNING LABEL in all of consumable products sold over the counter...?

Sugar costs our healthcare system BILLIONS and BILLIONS of dollars

But isn't that the point you're trying to make..?
Yes there are some dangers associated with Marijuana use - obviously
However its FAR LESS expensive to America than SUGAR abuse and Fast Food abuse

But we rally around those things like they were sacred tombs

Fast food and sugar abuse KILL more people and cost more than any drug
and we seriously seriously need to educate our endangered youth about the evils of those things - but instead we feed than that sh!t in our schools

No. The point I'm trying to make is that the legalization of pot is being introduced AFTER the mandated ACA. All the other bad shit was around before it. That's a big difference. How many more unhealthy things will we legalize/introduce/promote now that the producers are footing the healthcare costs?

depends on the revenue they generate...
Marijuana sales are taxed 25% from the farm to the re-seller and then 25% from the re-seller to the consumer and that revenue is used to pay for treatment centers and health facilities..!!!

Does sugar sales and McDonalds sh!t food Sales go towards any of that...?

:coffee: Does mcDonlads have a healthcare diet facility for their FAT clientele they're slowly killing..?

Many pot smokers are health nuts. They eat lots of Kale and free range chicken. Instead of sleeping off an alcohol induced hangover most of the day, they tend to get up early and go for a mountain bike ride, snowshoeing, working in their organic garden and such.

You're just describing West Coast people...
Some of whom do smoke pot - but everybody in Seattle mountain bikes and Hikes and eats Kale
