That right there ^ was some of the stupidest military intervention bunglings of the last 100 years

:ohno:

The faux "Revolution" started by "The People" against Gaddafi is a mountainous pile of bullsh!t
With the even more thinly disguised NATO JOINT Military intervention

Ugh... I could go on
But why I just end up sounding like Spandex

In closing
we're still really bad at overthrowing countries
and not leaving giant tracks flowing right back to us
It's like 1954 Guatemala only dumber

It is a case study about how what we do in one part of the world has profound effects on other, seemingly unrelated parts of the world.

In some ways (like this one) our foreign policy under the Obama admin suffered from more hubris than the Bush admin

Mainly because it was the Obama admin that assured the world that they were "not Bush"

I think this is spot on.

And Cleets doesn't sound like Spandos, he sounds like Cluck U who was also spot on with some of his FP rants.

To Obama's ever lasting shame...
He talked a good game to get elected (don't they all)
Then proceeded to screw up Afghanistan Egypt and Libya

Absolutely amazing :ohno:

That's because too many people don't understand that foreign policy isn't rocket science - you just follow a few simple rules-

1) American interests come first ... and never forget that there are no allies, only interests
2) Do what you say you are going to do (and don't say you are going to do impossible things)
3) Honor the country's promises - even when you don't like them

Pledge to do those things and you'd get my vote

Or, just say you are "not Bush" or "the 1980s called" or "MAGA" and win (without my vote)
