California banned all small engines (new sale) by 2024.
And it is not but some legislators like believing that a wave of their magic pen will make it all work out somehow. Physics can be re-written with the passage of a bill.

Well, I see its new vehicle sales in CA by 2035 (doesn’t apply to used). Medium and heavy duty trucks 2045.
Anyway, I bet new gas powered vehicle sales in 2035 by CA residents pick up in western AZ & western NV. Maybe southern Oregon, too, if they don’t try to follow the same hairbrained scheme.

Re: The Ukraine Crisis
Yeah, he probably said it in jest/sarcasm. Like during his 40+ min interview (1 hr segment) on the Clay and Buck show 12 days ago (2 days before the Russians invaded Ukraine. About 1/4 of that they spent talking about Putin/Russia/Ukraine. Trump made a number of comments in jest or in sarcasm that the left took out of context and were pearl clutching over.
Ex at one point while discussing Putin’s actions toward Ukraine Trump said ‘Oh, that’s wonderful’ clearly in sarcasm if you were listening to the entire interview. But the pearl cluthing MSM lost their shit over that and other statements cherry picked out of context.
If you went to pick up a food order at a restaurant and your order was all messed up and you said ‘Oh, that’s wonderful,’ do you really think its wonderful your order was fucked up? No, of course not, its called sarcasm. Something the left lacks the ability to tell, esp vis a vi Trump.
If the media edits an interview and only plays snippets its basically Fake News. Should play the whole interview unedited, or don’t play it at all.

Re: The Ukraine Crisis
So. For 6-7 years I’ve have had battery push mower, string trimmer, hedge trimmer, blower, and other power tools. But I have a tiny yard. If I was cutting over an acre, I’d have gas.
If I got a chainsaw to cut bigger stuff than can with my battery powered sawzall, would probably get battery powered. But if I was a professional landscaper/tree trimmer or living in the boonies off the grid, it sure as hell would be gas..
For landscaping crews its completely unfeasable.
https://www.latimes.com/california/stor ... af-blowersBerman said the state has set aside $30 million to help professional landscapers and gardeners make the transition from gas-powered equipment to zero-emission equipment, but an industry representative said that’s woefully inadequate for the estimated 50,000 small businesses that will be affected by the law.
Andrew Bray, vice president of government relations for the National Assn. of Landscape Professionals, said the zero-emission commercial-grade equipment landscapers use is also prohibitively expensive and less efficient than the existing gas-powered lawn mowers, leaf blowers and other small machinery. For example, a gas-powered commercial riding lawn mower costs $7,000 to $11,000, but its zero-emission equivalent costs more than twice that amount, he said.
Another major expense will be batteries. Bray said a three-person landscaping crew will need to carry 30 to 40 fully charged batteries to power its equipment during a full day’s work.
“These companies are going to have to completely retrofit their entire workshops to be able to handle this massive change in voltage so they’re going to be charged every day,” Bray said.

Brittney Griner was a huge deal while playing at Baylor, ESPN did a special on her. Most serious sports fans would know who she is with no mention of the WNBA. Maybe misogynistic sports fans avoid that kind of coverage because it exposes their insecurities.BDKJMU wrote: ↑Sun Mar 06, 2022 12:28 pmWell Hornet didn’t say WNBA player. I don’t watch 99% of what’s on ESPN.
Good for serious sports fans, which I’m not.
Or maybe just sports fans who DGAF about basketball. I wouldn’t recognize the names of 99% of NBA players either.
