It's adorable when faux liberals support the establishment and moderate conservatives with a D in front of their names.

:loser:

BTW, I like Uncle Joe. We sort of need a uniter right now and he might actually make a decent president. Not much change would be expected but at least less bellicosity.

A new CNN poll conducted by SSRS after Biden's announcement on Thursday shows 39% of voters who are Democrats or Democratic-leaning independents saying he is their top choice for the nomination, up from 28% who said the same in March.
That puts Biden more than 20 points ahead of his nearest competitor, Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont -- who holds 15% support in the poll -- and roughly 30 points ahead of the next strongest candidate, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren (8%).
Looks like Slate and Salon's loud protest about Biden's non-woke actions in the Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings and his past support for Israel aren't enough.

I posted on here about it already, but I went down to the piss wall when we all used to sit in Section C. Christie's box was somewhere around in front of about Section E or F. He was coming out of the restroom when I was about to go in. He was in a suit without the jacket on. Dude's belly hang a foot in front of him and his ass dragged a foot behind him. His belt had to be pushing 60". Looked like that guy that used to wear a barrel at Denver Broncos games.

HOLY COW @ the Biden bump in Quinnipiac

If it holds.... wow- I’ll go ahead and concede to Ivy early

All he needs to do is just bait Trump and nobody in the Dem field will catch him. Heck, in the Dem debates he could even hit Harris or The Indian with that condescending laugh he used on Ryan and the dip it would cause him with the wimmin wouldn’t matter

The numbers will probably tighten some but his initial polling after officially entering is impressive

As it happens there I saw a report today illustrating why whoever the Democrats nominate has a chance. It's the Gold Standard Poll. The ABC News/Washington Post Poll. And it once again showed that the majority of people in the United States say they definitely will NOT vote for Trump. You can see the results at https://www.langerresearch.com/wp-conte ... mp2020.pdf.

There are some caveats. It appears to be a poll of all people in the US and not just registered voters. Also, that majority who said there is no way they will vote for Trump do not necessarily say that they will vote for the Democrat candidate.

But, still, only 28% said they would definitely vote for Trump in 2020 vs. 55% who said they definitely would not. There is clearly a very large "not Trump" sentiment.

Also it has not changed significantly. Back in January it was 28% to 56% in the same poll. And this time more people said the Mueller report made them less likely to support Trump (36%) than said it made them more likely to support him (14%).

Trump is a weak candidate. Most people don't like him. Most people do not want him as President.

John, Trump will win by a bigger margin than he did in 2016. The Dems will run the worst candidate possible and once people see the craziness they advocate, it will not be close.

Who, in your mind is the worst candidate possible? Hillary lost to the worst candidate possible and Bernie polled something like 12 points ahead of Trump at one point.

Robert O’Rourke , Kamela Harris and Pocahontas would work. There isn’t a legit one in the 20 that can win a general election.

People say about Trump that they don’t want him running the country. People say about Dems that they don’t want them running the country.

Biden gives Dems their best chance to beat Trump out of the current field. If they nominate anybody else, Trump wins.

I don't yet know how to call it if Biden is the nominee. My gut is the Biden would win but then I also called Hillary in a landslide so what the hell do I know?

Trump is beloved... even by those who claim to dislike him
He'll get votes from people who will say they aren't even voting for him (See: Seattlegriz)

Maybe we should start a new poll on which of the 21 announced Donk candidates will get out first, now that Biden is in. Probably one of the nimrods like Inslee or Swalwell or Yang who never should have gotten in to begin with.

Trump is probably shitting his pants right now, with Biden in and the legal wolves howling after his business records. He can’t pull that “Little Marco” or “Lyin’ Ted” crap on Biden.
