The poll that I think is going to show up as something you can scroll through at the bottom of this post is a plus for you guys who think the Republicans are going to do well with hispanics:
As you may recall, I look at the ABC News, Washington Post poll as the best one overall based on 538's pollster ratings and metrics. My own efforts to look at how it's performed historically are consistent with what I see at 538.
Anyway, in answer to this question:
Would you rather see the next Congress controlled by the (Republicans, to act as a check on Biden), or controlled by the (Democrats, to support Biden’s agenda)?
Only 43% of Hispanic respondents said they would rather see Congress controlled by Democrats vs. 42% who said they'd rather see it controlled by Republicans. I do wish they'd have left the language on acting as a check on vs. supporting Biden out of the question as I think that could influence responses. But it's still good news for Republicans.
Meanwhile, more educated people continue to favor Democrats. By 49% to 43% respondents with college degrees would prefer Democrats in control and among post grads it's 52% to 43%. More evidence that we should make a rule where only people with at least a college degree should be able to vote.
I wish I could just post a link to the poll because if you go to the actual page you can read it better. But below is what happens when I post the link here.
