Of course they will...hell they have nothing else to hang their hat on going into the midterms. Anything to deflect from the faltering economy, crime, failed immigration policy...
All-time record corporate profits.... :thumb:

Jobs everywhere... :thumb:

Arrests per 100,000 in 2020 saw their highest decline in 35 years.... :thumb:

From my quick stops, CNN is 24x7 January 6. Whenever Anderson Cooper talks, his head looks like it's going to explode from rage.

Democrat 1/6 committee again tried to distract from bad news for the donks. Notice how last Thur was the 2nd time the Democrat 1/6 committee hearing was scheduled for the same day the inflation data came out.

McCarthy and trump are as responsible for the Jan 6 committee being Democrat as anyone. Tough sh!t if those snowflakes don't like it.

If the majority party took that stance that they don't want to even deal with the minority party on any committee because they don't like or care for certain minority members, then nothing would get done in Congress (even less than gets done now). Simply choosing not to work with the other party is not a long term solution for anything. The Dems were perfectly fine letting the Jan 6th committee be used as a political weapon, even if it came at the expense of the actual purpose of the committee (documenting the riot and all that entailed). When the GOP does the same kind of political opportunism over results in the coming GOP majority House I'll say the same thing.

It was absolutely political by both sides. Both sides are responsible for the circus the committee became..

FTR there were legitimate reasons to not want Jordan and I believe one other republican nominee on the committee. Potential witnesses should not be on a committee.

Oh please. Two of the proposed members were potential witnesses - McCarthy was the one who fucked up, he could have had at least three "no" votes on the committee.

You gotta admit that it was a masterstroke to let the story be told entirely by Republicans hired or appointed by Putin's catamite himself. I haven't seen one piece of grandstanding by a committee member yet, from either side. :coffee:
