Is the rest of Canada following his lead? Could be a huge boon for Trump if so.

He can go fuck himself. After his charade at the convention, I'm done with him forever. He's only doing this so he can say he honored his pledge (after he broke it when it counted of course). What a piece of human excrement.

If the Libertarians can get their shit together and put up a viable candidate and campaign in 2020 that can win instead of just steal votes from the Republican and aid Hillary, I'd be glad to vote for them. But I will never vote for Ted Cruz. Creepy slimeball extraordinaire. Probably just the turd that will draw JSO back to the Republican Party.

And Mark Cuban takes up residence in Trump's dome.

Trump says he's going to invite Jennifer Flowers.

It's also been suggested Trump should invite the mothers of the Benghazi victims.

Cuban has been obsessing over Trump when he realized that he could garner more publicity by attacking him. :coffee:

I wonder if he's aware of Hillary's 65% estate tax proposal.

Some have also said for Trump to have four empty seats to represent Ambassador Stevens and the three men as well.

Well this will be interesting. With Trump's obvious ties to professional golf, a Trump showing at Arnold Palmer's funeral would be appropriate. It will be in a battleground state, but I hope it doesn't turn into a circus.

Hilldog pulling out of Ohio.

So long Ohio?

Inside Politics
Jeff Zeleny reports the Clinton campaign is pulling back on its Ohio focus. The emphasis will now be on securing the states Obama won in 2012.

JohnStOnge wrote:While I watch all polls and would be much happier if they all showed Hillary WAY ahead at this point, what I really wait with baited breath for are the polls that are rated "A+" by 538. There are six of them but I only see two of them in the RealClearPolitics display that I check just about daily. Those two are ABC News/Washington Post and Monmouth. Here are the most recent results of those two polls with Johnson and Stein included as far back as I can readily see them on RealClearPolitics.com (results expressed in terms of Clinton vs. Trump margin):

ABC News Washington Post

9/5 - 9/8, likely voters, Clinton by 5
8/1 - 8/4, registered voters, Clinton by 6
7/11 - 7/14, registered voters, Clinton by 4
6/20 - 6/23, registered voters, Clinton by 10

Note that if 9/5 - 9/8 had been reported in terms of registered voters as the previous polls were, it would have been Clinton by 10.

Monmouth

8/25 - 8/28, likely voters, Clinton by 7
8/4 - 8/7, likely voters, Clinton by 13
7/14 - 7/16, likely voters, Clinton by 2
6/15 - 6/19, likely voters, Clinton by 7

So you can see that, if you have your filter on and are looking at the polls that are most highly rated by 538, there is no suggestion of some big trend going on nationally. Of course, unfortunately, the two A+ polls that RealClearPolitics has been posting don't come out very often and that's a factor in thinking about them. That's especially true of Monmouth; which hasn't repoted a national result since back in August.
*bated breath.

baited breath would imply you have some sort of fish in your mouth.... :coffee:

I know its only grammar but when your whole schtick is trying to hide your religious fundamentalism behind a veneer of being highly educated this sort of thing kind of detracts from the attempt.

Mostly he needs to shut up and let Hillary self-destruct. She has the unfortunate talent of being entirely unlikeable even when she is speaking truth.

Cruz is one of the few fighting BHO on his Internet give away.
Will Republican leaders rubber stamp Obama’s internet giveaway?

Congress is ironing out another of its continuing resolutions. Conservatives led by Ted Cruz are insisting that the resolution include language that would block the transition away from U.S. oversight of the Internet’s domain name system. Donald Trump has backed Cruz in this fight.

Why is ongoing U.S. oversight so important? Because, as Rick Manning, president of Americans for Limited Government, says: Continuing U.S. oversight of the Internet’s domain name system protects the First Amendment rights of everyone who uses the Internet and prevents the creation of a global monopoly that one day could censor the Internet absent U.S. governance....

I agree, but isn't that how he got this far?

It's how he won the Republican nomination.

But, in the general it has had the opposite effect. When he goes impromptu... and saying wacky shit... his poll numbers have tanked (see: post-convention free fall). Then his handlers get him back on message and stump speeches.

I think the debates will be more similar to post-convention Trump. Especially since it seems like he hasn't bothered doing much preparation for the debates.

JSO has already provided the theorem that any poll or projection showing Trump ahead of Clinton is wrong.

So I don't believe what you posted. If you post a different projection with Hillary ahead, I will believe that one.
