Dear god the number of brain dead piss drinkers that dont understand what doxxing actually is is about as high as those that don’t actually understand the first amendment but scream about it all the time

No one I've ever met, or read about, who loudly claims to be a free speech "absolutist" has ever been one.
They're always the opposite: free speech for me but not for thee.

And does it matter? Or does the "Twitter's a private company they can ban people if they want" argument only apply to conservative perspectives? Did the left and right exchange social media playbooks when Elon bought Twitter?
Are they as brain-dead piss drinkers as the people who want socialism but can't tell why it will work this time despite not having worked on a large scale before?

No one has doxxed his location. Flight records only record a plane, and are public records.
And, if that is the standard, eLoon needs to ban himself, and the majority of the cult tweeters

Rupar was one of the loudest of the loudmouths screaming for bans and censorship of the accounts he didn't like on that hell site. Oops...
Now with him gone who should ascend to the top of the trash heap as the the worst account on Twitter?
My nominees are Rex Chapman and/or Nina Turner.

I don't think those people should be banned just like I didn't think conservatives should have been banned. It is funny that liberals are up an arms over something they cheered happening to conservatives before Elon took over Twitter. Public ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange. It's never worked on a large scale. It does make the masses equal though, equally miserable.

Forget that modern society was also built with and on the commons.
It’s either a socially responsible platform or it isn’t. Their choice. None of us like censorship but it’s still their choice. The other hypocrisy of course is the right gleefully applauding over this when it’s owning the libs. The fuck your feelings crowd just caught some positive feels.

And as far as the "other hypocrisy is the right gleefully applauding over this", I think I covered that when I posted "the hypocrites are those whose positions changed now that the shoe is on the other foot."
Just another example of the right and left being mirror images of each other as they stand in their corner yelling at the other about how un-American they are.

Musk literally called it a “digital town square” when he took over. It’s not a bad point. Same could be applied to the airwaves. Or similar…public water utilities where city’s forget they actually don’t own the resource, they simply own the delivery system.UNI88 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 11:36 amSo Twitter and social media are the town square / commons now that liberals are being denied a voice?kalm wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 11:14 am

The commons serve the public good. Once upon a time, corporations were required to as well.

When were corporations required to serve the public good? Did Carnegie and Rockefeller care about the public good? The difference between corporations today and the not-so-distant past is that corporations today are overly focused on short-term market value (because it is a huge driver for executive bonuses) rather than trying to build great companies. IMO, Musk is less focused on the short-term than most corporate executives, he builds for the future.

At least in the 1800’s (going off memory here). They were regulated by Secretaries of State to a greater degree. It’s a part of the corporate personhood argument so I’d need to brush up on it to give a better answer.UNI88 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 12:20 pmI've called it a town square.kalm wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 11:49 am

No need to. There are countless examples of fake viral tweets he started.
One of the most famous is the one where he tried to blame Conks for locking mailboxes to try and stop mail in voting in 2020. He isn't retweeting or liking a fake tweet. He created it knowing all along that it was a total fabrication.
Please go on...tell us all just how virtuous this assclown is. I can't wait.

Chapman is an ex-junkie with a mile long criminal record so I have no clue how his mind works. People who are prone to addiction have impulse control issues and lack the ability to think things out before acting.kalm wrote: ↑Sat Dec 17, 2022 10:27 amI’m interested now. He is the author of the tweet without attribution to anyone else so as far as the reader is concerned, it would be a first hand account. The USPS has been using locks like those on mail boxes as a theft deterrent since 2016. A 10 second Googles search would have shown that.
Even after the facts were pointed out to him, he does this...
The guy is a totally self absorbed douche bag.

People who want to try socialism are either fools, irrational dreamers, or schemers looking to use it to their own advantage.
