Who said anything about "smoking Marijuana" you sound really uninformed

Marijuana can be ingested in many ways as it is a pain reducer and apatite enhancer for cancer and other serious diseases. Very few cancer patients "smoke" the drug and most chemo patients swear by the pills keeping them from vomiting...

Legalizing Marijuana has many effects
Most good but some bad - as with all things "valuable" there is a gray market
The illegal sale and mass distribution of Marijuana in Washington State is WAY WAY down

From the Atlantic article last month:

"One-half of the dream is coming true. In the first two states to go legal, arrests for marijuana possession have dropped dramatically—by 98 percent in Washington and 95 percent in Colorado as of last year—and high taxes in both states are generating tens of millions of dollars a year for education and public health. At the same time, legal markets in Washington and Colorado along with loosening medical-marijuana laws around the country have together exerted enough downward pressure on street prices that Central American cartels have reportedly begun to shift production away from marijuana, toward more profitable drugs like heroin..."
Researchers analyzed data from a 2014 national consumer panel survey of 4,269 people and charted their results. Joints were the most commonly used method of marijuana consumption by a pretty large margin.

Of adult cannabis users surveyed, 89 percent said they had smoked a joint in 2014. Just 30 percent said they had consumed a marijuana-infused edible, and 10 percent said they used a vaporizer.

The ABC stores in VA can pick and choose which VA wines to sell. This is the first time I've run across a Trump wine in a store...surprisingly in NoVA nonetheless. The choices were kinda bitchy though...a Rose and a Sparkling Wine :

Image

Anyways, I bought the Rose for a friend who's a yuuuuuuge Trump fan as a gag gift. We're heading to NYC to celebrate his birthday in two weeks, in which I'll gift it to him. I'll let ya know how it tastes.

ps. This isn't a Trump branded wine from somewhere else. His family does actually own a vineyard in Monticello.

Why are you surprised to see this for sale in NoVa? It's a Virginia wine.

And, I forget who I was talking to in one of these threads - but, THIS is why Trump is running, imo. Good for business/brand

I watched the Trump "town hall" from New Hampshire. For the most part, he did pretty well. The only thing that he did wrong was not directly answer a couple of questions. One was something like, "Will you make changes at the top of DOJ, VA, FBI, etc.". That's probably a difficult question to answer on a campaign. I can understand avoiding that one. But he did say he was ashamed at they way these agencies have been operating.

 That's fair. Although a lot of the pressure is off, I think the odds of that happening have gone down quite a bit.

It's gotten to the point where some of the "vulnerable" GOP Senators are actually outperforming Trump in polls in their states: Portman, Toomey, Ayotte, etc.

Lol.

Trump on hot mic.
I moved on her and I failed. I’ll admit it. I did try and fuck her. She was married. And I moved on her very heavily. In fact, I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture. I said, ‘I’ll show you where they have some nice furniture.’ I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married. Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything. She’s totally changed her look. I’ve gotta use some tic tacs, just in case I start kissing her. You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful -- I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the pussy.

Yep. Target rich environment. I'm sure the Democrats helped the Washington Post find this and I'm sure they've got a bunch of other stuff lined up. I'm sure they've been doing opposition research for quite some time now and have been holding their fire until late. We'll see. But I won't be surprised to see a bunch of stuff coming out because there's probably so much stuff he's said and done. It's easy to make him look like a prick because he IS a prick and he's always BEEN a prick. Plus he's historically had no reason to hide being a prick. Now he does But it's too late.

Oh...and I turned on the TV to hear that he apologized. Here's his apology:
“This was locker room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago. Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course - not even close,” Trump said in a statement. “I apologize if anyone was offended.”
What a friggin' buffoon. And there are people on this board that want that guy to be President. There are actually people on this board who think Clinton is worse.

She's not. She's awful. But in this "binary choice" it's a no brainer. We can't have this Trump abomination as President.

Nice try. Won't work. If Trump had ANY hope of parlaying a replay of the Bill Clinton 1990s sex scandals into some kind of advantage that strategy just got neutered. I also seriously, seriously doubt that anybody's going to be able to find Bill Clinton on video and/or audio being THAT crude. I'm sure maybe he's been that crude in private. But if there were a video/audio like that on Clinton I think we'd have seen it already.

And that's Trump's problem. People like Hillary and Bill have had people doing opposition research on them for 25+ years digging for dirt. Trump's got mounds of dirt in his background and people just started digging.

Time for people to start asking Pence what he thinks about Trump's comments, by the way. Time for them to start asking how a Christian Conservative like him can associate himself with somebody like that. And I'm guessing it'll happen because the reason I thought of that is because a reporter on CNN just wondered out loud about what Pence is thinking about this. Somebody's going to think of confronting him with it.

And it'll serve him right because he totally sacrificed his principles by associating himself with Trump to being with.

I won't say it's over because I'm not sure about what Assange might have. But if it weren't for that I'd be saying it's over. And I doubt that this is the last of what the Democrats have on him.

LOL! I just did a quick channel surf. Turn it to CNN and they're talking about Trump's comments. Flip it to MSNBC and they're talking about Trump comments. Flip it to Fox News and it's a guy in a rain suit doing hurricane coverage.

That just fits so well with the stereotypes.
