I disagree. I honestly don't think there is such a thing as an undecided (at least this late in the game), it's about getting your people to come out and actually vote.
I know a few who still are undecided. But that's anecdotal, at best.
Correct, there are still undecideds, but way less than usual. Last week heard 1 of the polling people, may have been Luntz, in response to someone saying about the 50 million or whatever it was at the time that had already voted, that those were the diehards. Said the undecideds (think it was 6% of likely voters, a historically low amount) historically wait to the last minute and are among the last to vote.

So 89 is correct about turnout, but its also about those late undecideds, who coukd make a point or 2 diffeence one way or the other.

I've never met one. Not exaggerating.
 I met my first Green Party voter today while waiting to vote.

I'd be interested to see how many people "made their decision" at the voting location this year. 6% is very low but enough, if concentrated, to make a difference. . :thumb:

 Agreed. The question is can enough Trump voters turn out greater than the number of votes the DNC is going to "manufacturer" with the mail in voting schemes going on. We probably won't have an answer until late November.

Can I change my vote' trends on Google: What you need to know
More than 59 million Americans have cast their ballots ahead of Nov. 3
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/can-i- ... ed-to-know

......One of the subregions where the phrase began trending at one point was in Delaware, the state Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden represented in the Senate for 36 years.

Other subregions included battleground states such as Maine, Pennsylvania, Florida, Ohio, Michigan, North Carolina, Iowa, Wisconsin and Arizona, according to Trend data at various points throughout Tuesday morning.

While most states do not allow voters to change their early votes, there are some that do, with restrictions.

For example, in New York, if you have submitted an absentee ballot but change your mind, you can show up to your polling place during early voting or on Election Day and cast a vote, in which case the absentee ballot is set aside and not counted, according to the state Board of Elections.

n Michigan, voters who have sent in a ballot can submit a written and signed request to their voting clerk by 5 p.m. Oct. 30 requesting to have the ballot nullified, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Minnesotans who mailed in an absentee ballot had until Oct. 20 to request a new ballot from their county or city election office.

In New Hampshire, voters who submitted an absentee ballot can go to the polls on Election Day during the first hour they're open and vote in person, or before their absentee ballot is processed.

In Wisconsin, if time allows, a voter can cancel their original absentee ballot and request a new one – but they have until Oct. 29, the legal deadline for requesting absentee ballots by mail.....

No. The question was “who in politics?”. :coffee:

I’ll bet he spends more on golf cart rentals than all the presidents before him combined.

He allegedly leveraged China negotiations for Ivanka trademarks.

The editor of Forbes released a book this fall literally title “White House, Inc.

But yeah...Lincoln Project bad.
I call The Lincoln Project bad because if you want to talk about grifters, look no further. They for years espoused all of the things Trump has worked towards, but with people like McCain and Romney. Now that there is finally a President that accomplished what they always said they wanted, but doesn't need their help, all of a sudden they switch sides.

They are right in line with all the grifters that took Bloomberg for a ride to give him nothing but less money in his bank account.

More so called experts that never accomplished anything.

FWIW this thread isn't even half as long as the great "Election 2016: Trump vs Clinton" thread.

This election not as exciting? Or maybe due to the great summer CS.com exodus (can think of at least 7 off the top of my head) leaving that would have contributed quite a bit to this thread if still here..

There were people that camped out the night before, or got there o-dark early for a scheduled 1:30 start (he didn't get there till about 2 PM. They stopped letting people in maybe around 12:15, as they probably 10k or so crammed in..View from my seat (well, I was standing almost the whole time). Again, I was literally about 20 feet away from the podium.. I'm on the OAN broadcast for about 45 seconds as Trump is leaving (my backside)..1st 3 pics are from about an hr before the start..

2016 was a shitshow, the likes of which I hope we never see again.

Also, this election has been a bit of a sideshow to Covid. For much of the late spring and summer that was the biggest story. The Covid thread is about twice as long as the 2016 election thread.

Honest question and it's not an attack or anything on you, BDK - Are we supposed to take him at his word? The very first questions should be - why should we believe you? Why are you trustworthy? What do you have to gain or lose by speaking out?

And if so, what makes him different from someone like Kelly or Matthis that does have first hand knowledge of things yet they get ignored, ridiculed, etc...?

That should be the first question. Unfortunately that question has not been the first one asked of anyone of either side flinging their accusations around.

Agreed. Journalists, if you can call them that, don't ask the basic questions. They just run with whatever bogus story they are handed.
