last time I checked, it was never claimed that Iraq should become the 51st state

And yes, the Sudetenland was a bad analogy.

If he was going for a 3rd party analogy, it'd be like how many American's felt in 1941.

Indeed. But it's not Chizz's fault, I blame his education for giving him just a little bit of history knowledge to know something but not enough to be able to craft a better analogy.
