I just watched the video. There were some questionable things said but I didn't think it was worth the level of criticism you are bringing forth. It's probably best to discuss the specific points that you disagree with because I can't throw everything that was said into one basket (of deplorables).

Like most extremely intelligent people, Carson is a little 'different'. Strange religious views, etc. It doesn't make him stupid (kalm's favorite adjective to describe Carson). I've noticed for a while now that kalm saves his sharpest criticisms for the black and brown folk who aren't of the liberal/progressive persuasion.

No...he's stupid. I'm not saying he's Louie Gohmert (white guy) stupid, but he's stupid.

And you don't see me sharply criticizing Elizabeth Warren.

I'm not voting for Trump, but I believe him when he says hilldog is terrible, will be terrible, and is a liar. But of course all of those things are already proven or have a track record of becoming proven. You're welcome.

Trump supporters planning to bomb Somali refugees in Kansas.

Acting U.S. Attorney Tom Beall says Curtis Allen, 49, Gavin Wright, 51, and Patrick Stein were all charged with domestic terrorism.

Beall said the three were planning to bomb an apartment complex and mosque in Garden City occupied by a Muslim community of about 120 Somali refugees.

Beall said the men planned to carry out the attack on Nov. 9, the day after Election Day.

He said the men stockpiled a large cache of firearms, and ammunition.

I don't see how either Carson or Gohmert can be stupid in terms of IQ. I don't think there's any way a below average IQ person could do what either of them have done. I don't think you end up getting through University of Michigan Medical School as Carson did or Baylor Law School as Gohmert did without having an above average IQ. Not going to happen. In fact if I had to bet I'd bet both are in the top 15% IQ wise and feel pretty confident about winning the bet.

Now, I will admit that Carson has said some incredibly ignorant things during this Presidential campaign. I'm not up to speed on Gohmert but I'm guessing you must think he said some incredibly ignorant things as well. But neither is stupid.
