It was over the candidates. Basically TYT is in the tank for all the "progressive" folks, and Dore is a Bernie guy (and he kinda likes Tulsi).
Huh? Bernie and Tulsi are both progressives. TYT loves them some Bernie.

Universal healthcare used to be a thing that “couldn’t happen”. Medicare for all used to be a thing that “couldn’t happen”. The list goes on and on. Those things have a way of worming their way into the mainstream and that’s how we’ve gotten where we are.
..couldn't happen here is what you mean. The other nations in the first world have been doing it for decades. We even give Israel money to spend on free healthcare and education. But Americans don't deserve that kind of treatment except for a few hundred of the exceptional ones.
You matter. Unless you multiply yourself by c squared. Then you energy.

Nope. Not as long as we also feel the need to be the world's policeman. THAT'S where our money goes. For better or for worse...

What if he changed it to Murica has show a tendency to look at style over substance? Would that work?
OK. Now explain how Warren fits the "style over substance" theory. :coffee:

Biden would be a virtual lock if he Democrats had said, "OK, we've identified the best shot and we're going to rally behind him."

Also it means we could end up with Warren as President. That's not as bad as having Trump as President. But it's not good. It's just too bad the Republicans put us in this position by coming up with Trump. No way we'd be looking at a realistic possibility of Elizabeth Warren being President if the Republicans hadn't come up with Trump on their side.
Good God that’s some convoluted logic. Exactly who would we be looking at if Trump weren’t president?
Nobody knows

Oh, and Warren isn't winning anything without winning the Black vote and the organized labor vote and I don't see any indication she's going to win that. She's like a weaker Bernie than Bernie was in 2016 and Bernie couldn't crack the Democratic establishment. She won't fare any better. It'll be a slow, long, slog to the nomination, but assuming Biden doesn't have a health scare or (god forbid) dies he's the nominee.
It also doesn’t help that much of the Dem establishment can’t stand her

We still have Obamacare.

But some of those things candidates say do happen- like Obamacare getting enacted. So I’m going to take their word for it. Whether people think it will happen or not.

I'll take your word for it. I know Jimmy got into it a lot with the other TYT personalities on the platform because he wasn't buying their sh!t. So instead of having a person of differing opinion, they got rid of him.

Yang's platform involves a UBI (Freedom Dividend) and Medicare for All, which are deal breakers for me. Whether or not he is able to implement them is immaterial to me, just the fact that he is proposing them shows me where his mindset and beliefs lie and gives a clue where he is coming from and the type of policy he is willing to support or compromise towards.

Same here, Winterborn. Yang is the trendy candidate for the Sensitive Internet Centrists set who want to be perceived as soft-core progressives.
