And of course you ignored my question.
This question - "And why do you refuse this is politically timed lawfare? Do you believe that in 76 years of his life, 0 criminal cases, then in his 77th year, which just happens to be an election year, 4 cases brought, is just some random coincidence?"

So you, who don't think a judge appointed by a Democrat can rule based on the law or that a jury in a state that that votes Democratic can be impartial wants me to believe that because trump has no criminal record after 76 years he's incapable of committing a crime?

You want me to believe that:
  • trump's millionaire father never used his money and influence to make a criminal charge against a young trump go away? The same father who used his power and influence to help trump dodge the draft?
  • a person involved in thousands of civil suits never did anything worthy of criminal charges?
  • a new york developer never did anything illegal like bribing a building inspector?
  • trump never used his own money and influence to make a criminal charge go away?
trump' is a entitled member of the establishment who is used to gaming the system for his own benefit. His lack of a criminal record is not proof that he's never done anything criminal and most importantly that he isn't capable of committing a crime.
So you you don’t think its any conincidence that the 1st 4 criminal indictments in Trump’s 77 year lifetime were all brought within months of wach other, all scheduled to be tried in an election year. Got it.

No I don't. There are logical reasons why it took so long to bring the indictments ...

Trump grouses that his indictments took years. Here’s why that is.
In fact, apart from the individual documents Trump is charged with illegally retaining, each of Trump’s charges in this case results from conduct between May 2022 and August 2022. And the slow pace of the investigation and criminal charges clearly owes to Trump’s repeated failures, over many months, to return the documents — a situation culminating in the August 2022 search of Mar-a-Lago. The indictment came 10 months later.
...
Part of the delay would seem to have resulted from differing views over the prosecution, with the district attorney who ultimately brought the charges, Alvin Bragg, taking office in January 2022.
...
Trump’s other two indictments — the case brought by Smith in federal court in D.C. and a state case in Fulton County, Ga. — are focused on Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election. These efforts took place between November 2020 and January 2021. But as we saw very publicly with the House Jan. 6 committee, it takes time to put together an investigation; the House’s hearings didn’t conclude and result in a criminal referral until December 2022.
Why Did All The Charges Against Trump Take So Long To Be Filed?
Top DOJ officials resisted opening a probe into Trump's role in Jan. 6 for more than a year, weary of appearing partisan. Even after Jack Smith took over as special counsel, legal battles involving the testimony of key figures such as former Vice President Mike Pence led to further delays.

In Georgia, where Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis announced a sprawling racketeering indictment against Trump and 18 allies, the sheer scale and complexity of the two-and-a-half year election interference probe helps explain the timing. (Willis has proposed a trial date of next March 4, the day before the "Super Tuesday" primary elections.)

All of this could've been avoided if we had 1) impeached and removed him from office, and barring further holding, in the immediate aftermath of 1/6 (see my prior posts about how the Dems overreaching on the first impeachment help to scuttle the second attempt) or 2) actually charged Trump with insurrection and gotten him convicted on that anytime in the past 3 years. Trump's stopped-clock moment was when he said Nikki isn't tough enough. Might as well elect Trump, as Nikki would be his sock puppet enacting directives from Mar a Lago. Different genres but I think of Ray Davies as something like the British version of John Prine in that you dont hear him mentioned often with the best songwriters in Britain although he's every bit as good just as Prine's work deserves to be mentioned with the likes of Dylan and Paul Simon among US songwriters of that generation

Ok so you and the WaPo and the rest of left have an opinion that there’s no lawfare in the 4 criminal cases brought against Trump, or anything political about the timing of them.

And the other half of the country disagrees.

I can see that this is written in English but have no idea what its supposed to mean. What I mean is that there are a lot of soccer moms in New Hampshire and they now have an option that allows them not vote for Trump but still vote for their party. I think that how that vote goes will be very valuable information

I used the WaPo and other article because they provided a rational explanation of why the indictments took time. You're dismissing what they say not because of the content but because of who they are. What does SG call that kind of attack?

Wrong. Half the country does not disagree. The country is not split 50/50 into trump haters and supporters. There are a whole lot of people in the middle who have an opinion but it isn't nearly that strong and they could be swayed by the results of any of these cases.

Ok so you and the WaPo and the rest of left have an opinion that there’s no lawfare in the 4 criminal cases brought against Trump, or anything political about the timing of them.

And the other half of the country disagrees.

Does not disagree what? You mean does not agree?
-Most conks say the charges and the timing are politically motivated
-Most donks say the charges and timing are not politically motivated.
-Indies are a probably a mixed bag.

I can’t find a poll(s) that specifically ask likely voters about politically motivated and timing.

Another Win: Massachusetts State Ballot Law Commission Tosses 14th Amendment Case Against Trump

…….These anti-Democratic challenges have so far occurred in at least 31 states, but many such efforts have been shot down, including in California, Michigan, New Hampshire, Arizona, Rhode Island, West Virginia, and Florida. Most were tossed on procedural grounds as judges and commissions were reluctant to weigh in on the 14th Amendment issue. Actions are pending in several more states.

However, in Colorado and Maine, Trump did not come out on top, and the former president was ruled ineligible (by the state Supreme Court in Colorado’s case and by rogue Democrat election official Shenna Bellows in Maine’s). Those cases are now headed to the Supreme Court, where – if there is any sanity left in Washington, D.C. – they will be promptly thrown in the garbage…..

Trump wins NH by double digits, DESPITE less than half of the conk primary being conks, with a plurality being indies and donks.

Trump becomes 1st conk since Ford in 1976 to win Iowa and NH in a contested primary, and he does both in landslide fashion.

Haley in her post election speech said “This thing is far from over’. She’s f’ing delusional if she believes that. She should drop out before she’s embarrassed in her home state.
