But that's where the real "fake news" probably resides. Trump is an anomaly, he just out and out lies every day, but news organizations do it in a slightly different way. They pull things out of context, they highlight certain aspects of a story to fit their own agenda, and they minimize or even hide anything that could provide nuance or even contradict their agenda. And they all do it - Fox has been doing it for the right for years, MSNBC used to be the go to site for the left before CNN decided they were going to erase any shred of integrity and become the newsite of the Resistance. The bias in the media has swelled in the last 20 years and just continues to accelerate. Sure it happens every day, but just like we should call out and dispute a buffoon like Trump when he lies, we should call out and hold to task news organizations that should know better about writing headlines that don't match the story.
