AFTER the fact, Bubba. I was watching CNN the day the news broke. CNN got called on it by a bunch of bloggers that day and they started showing full shot of the guy to act like it never happened. I'm not going to waste time googling it just to show it to somebody who refuses to see that all of the news networks do this kind of thing. I am telling you what I saw myself as it happened. Later, Jules Crittendon (with the Boston Globe, BTW, so he is a little more than 'just a blogger') commented on it and how the talk show commentators on CNN had questioned if maybe 'white supremacist' groups could more easily target the president because of the gun laws that allow them to carry in venues like the one they were showing. The whole time they were talking, the video was of the guy with the assault rifle. They showed nothing but his backside and the gun. Or, you can go look through Jules Crittendon's posts and you'll run across it, along with a link to the CNN show. Come to think of it, reading through Jules' blog might do you some good.

At least Fox publicly admitted the mistake. Fox is not perfect, but some of their programs are indeed as fair and balanced as any in the broadcast media - presenting a variety of viewpoints and diversity of intelligent, well informed panel participants.
