HOWEVER, when it comes to government entities (teaches, coaches, school districts, athletic associations) even TACITLY endorsing (thus promoting) a particular religion (because you know those fvcking soccer players above weren't chanting verses from the fvcking Quran), then I start swinging.

Cap, my basketball team had a team prayer in our locker room before every single game. We got in a circle and held hands and the coach prayed. People were allowed to leave if they so wished, our coach didn't care if people didn't feel comfortable with it, he understood. He never prayed for a win, prayed to play better than the other team, or anything like that. It was always about keeping everyone safe, family that a player may have that was suffering, and things like that. It was never a problem for any of the players, the players families, the non-believers in the communities that made up our school, opposing players, officials, school officials, or anything like that. I see no problem with it, I really don't.

Is the fact we did it in our locker room more acceptable than doing it at mid-field of a soccer field or not? What if the coach hadn't let it and a player had?
