Would you rather be Sarah Palin or John Edwards?

Palin may not be the brightest bulb in the drawer, but she's worked her way into being the Governor of Alaska, SOMEHOW got on the '08 ticket, and NOW gets to sit around BSing all day for cash. Not bad for an idiot. Laugh all you want at her little slip ups (I do), but don't tell me she's that much better than Edwards.

I wasn't comparing their level of happiness, income, or standard of living.

But isn't the way all that stuff turns out a reflection of your intelligence? Palin has maximized her intelligence (or lack thereof). She should get some credit there.

I don't think there's any question that Edwards' IQ is higher than Palin's. But that doesn't mean he's a lot smarter.
