BTW, we've (EPA) been getting a lot of water samples from the coastal shores along the gulf recently and the numbers are showing that the oil spill is NOT posing a credible threat to coastal aquatic and human life. That doesn't mean it won't eventually because for all we know, tomorrow's samples could show spikes in toxic substances and everything can change in a heartbeat. But for now, it seems like aquatic life on the coast isn't at risk.
